BIM designing

Let’s return to the analysis of the project development in the BIM designing system. Public building project is a time-consuming and complicated model, if we speak about 3D design, because BIM designing is nothing more than a three-dimensional, or spatial planning. To begin with, the architect proposes layouts of our office, and then step by step raises it by setting heights of floors and facade parameters. Advantage of this model is that several designers can work in a single file, and the design speed is much higher. For example one architect designs interior, move walls and partitions, arranges vents and doors. The other architect works on the building exterior, windows and exterior doors. How is this possible? Software systems allow blocking specific user actions within a specific type of work on the model, thus an architect who works on the interior will not damage or change the things done by the second architect and vice versa. The design speed is doubled or even tripled. Another great advantages of these programs are ready models, i.e. models (windows, doors, plumbing and so on) significantly reduce the time to work on these elements, as a finished model, with all dimensions and required characteristics is used in the project. Further, when the architectural model is fully ready, it is finalized by engineers and subcontractors. We will talk about this in the next article…
