Design of saunas

Design of saunas

For our Russian climate, it is characteristic that a little less than half the year we have cold weather, and in some regions even longer. In this regard, our people have a love for warmth, for baths and saunas. Traditionally, sauna is a room where you can change clothes, drink tea or other beverages, a shower or washing room and most importantly, a steam bath or steam room. It can be of two types – “wet” and “dry”. “Wet” is characterized by a relatively low temperature, but at the same time high humidity. You should spill a small amount of water on the red-hot stones, which creates steam when evaporating, which is the main goal of a “wet” steam room. “Dry” room in turn, on the contrary is without the use of water, but the temperature here is much higher – from 120 °C. Also, recently the Turkish Hamam became very popular – it is a kind of bath with 100% humidity. The principle is that the steam room is made of tiles (mosaic), benches are also made of it, and steam is pumped from a special hole with a steam generator.

Such popularity of bathing procedures can not be left without attention, that’s why customers often want to order a sauna project in addition to the house project. Designing saunas is quite a popular task for our company. But to date, bathrooms are increasingly different from their original appearance. Rest rooms, billiard rooms appear. Bathroom becomes not just a place for hygiene, but also a place for a good pastime.
